Who this covers
- Epic Transfers & Tours (package com.epic.transfer.mobile_app) is staff software for drivers, operations, and management.
- Transilex publishes the app and hosts the service. Epic Transfers & Tours is the operator brand shown in the app.
- It is not a public consumer booking app, and it is not directed at children.
Data the app collects
- Account email and name, and a session token stored on the device until you sign out.
- Booking, passenger, driver, vehicle, and payment-status data that your signed-in role is allowed to view or edit.
- Precise GPS only while a driver has location sharing turned on, and only while the app is in use. Those positions are sent to that operator’s Transilex server so dispatch can see the vehicle.
- The app does not collect card or bank numbers, does not use an advertising ID, does not sell personal information, does not collect location in the background, and does not use location for advertising.
Sharing and security
- Data is sent over HTTPS to the operator’s Transilex workspace.
- We share data with subprocessors that help us run the service (hosting, email, and flight data) under contractual confidentiality and security terms.
- Passenger and driver records an operator stores in the app are processed for that operator. The operator’s own privacy notice applies to its customers.
Your choices
- Turn location sharing off in the app, or revoke location permission in the device settings, to stop GPS collection.
